Yeoga-geoyeo (餘佳居如) | Seohyeon-dong Extension & Major Renovation A project that extended an existing two-storey building to three storeys and, through a major renovation, reborn it as a new living space. The existing stair tower was removed and the spatial composition and circulation were newly organised; the extension and remodelling expanded the potential of the existing building. Rather than simply adding floor area, the focus was on respecting the traces of the existing architecture while reinterpreting it into a space suited to today's way of living. The name the client gave the house, "Yeoga-geoyeo (餘佳居如)," carries this meaning: "To live in a good and leisurely place, where all things unfold as one wishes." Like its name, we hope this house becomes a comfortable home holding the family's daily life for many years.
