Pangyo Coworking Space

A project for the interior of a duplex-structured rental commercial space within a shop-house in Unjung-dong, Pangyo. BYHAND handled the design and, through construction consulting, carried it out at minimal construction cost with no construction margin. Considering the work of young founders, it was planned so that efficient spatial division, circulation, and communication could take place smoothly. Across the whole space, the area and portion a solo startup might occupy were set to a degree, and the space was divided into four zones to allow expansion from part to whole. Areas were also distinguished floor by floor, making the most of each space's character: the first floor holds office space, a meeting room, and a pantry, while the second floor holds a full meeting room, a prayer room, and a reading space.
